An eclectic turn
I grew up absorbing my Dad’s 70s rock music collection and also found a love for Americana after he ventured on a work trip to the US.
In my teens music took an eclectic turn, playing in numerous bands and finding inspiration in singer-songwriters, alt-rock and indie as well jazz, which I went on to study. I graduated from the renowned Jazz degree course at Leeds College of Music in 2011, spending the next few years touring all over the UK and Europe with various bands.
As well as my studio work I currently tour worldwide in the internationally acclaimed theatre show Beatlemania in The Magic Of The Beatles, and perform regularly at The World Famous Cavern Club with The Cavern Club Beatles and has worked with West End theatre tour Let It Be. I frequently play live with poetry infused alt/indie band LYR featuring the current British Poet Laureate Simon Armitage, as well as the solo project of The Killers guitarist Ted Sablay.

Together with producing and mixing for other artists I make my own music with a vintage twinge and released The Hootenanny Plays The Music Of Ron Ryan in 2022.
I spend my free time hanging out with my lovely wife and daughters and watching the occasional game of rugby league (you’ve got no choice ‘Up North’!).
