An eclectic turn
I’m a drummer, multi instrumentalist, composer and producer based in Leeds, and most of what I do comes back to feel, musicality and making records that sound great.

I grew up on my dad’s 70s rock collection, then got into Americana after he came back from a work trip to the US with a load of music and stories. In my teens, things got more eclectic.
I played in bands and got into singer songwriters, indie, punk and alt rock, before going on to study jazz at Leeds Conservatoire. That mix of influences still shapes how I work now, whether I’m playing drums, building an arrangement, or producing a track.

I spent several years touring the UK and Europe with Dancing Years, then toured internationally for nearly a decade with Beatlemania: The Magic of the Beatles. I still play regularly at The Cavern Club with The Cavern Club Beatles, and I also worked on the UK tour of Let It Be.

Alongside that, I’ve worked with a wide range of artists including LYR and Simon Armitage, Ted Sablay of The Killers, and Testament. These days, I record drums, produce and mix for artists from my studio in Leeds, and I also work remotely for clients in the UK and further afield.

I also compose and produce music for libraries including Music Vine, Uppbeat, The Nerve, Thermal Music and others, with work used by Universal Music Group, Sony BMG, and brands including Nando’s, Tanqueray and Drambuie. More recently, I’ve been putting more time into my own original work too, bringing my love of classic tones, character and song led production into everything I make.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m usually with my wife and kids, or watching a bit of rugby league.
